Christmas Stays in Social Studies!

In January, the Texas State Board of Education voted to keep Christmas and other important historical figures in sixth grade social studies. The vote comes after months of public outrage at the suggestion to drop Christmas references and after more than 5,000 Texans signed the petition at www.ChristmasTextbooks.com.
