About Our Legislative Division
Liberty Institute's legislative division operates from Austin, Texas, and is dedicated to protecting freedoms and strengthening families in the legislative arena. Our attorneys' unique expertise in legal issues and Constitutional freedoms is invaluable in our legislative work. Much of our work impacts the entire nation as our legislative approach has helped other states work toward similar goals, including passing laws that affirm traditional marriage, keeping censorship out of public school classrooms, protecting students' religious free speech and defending the sanctity of life.
We also work on a national level to encourage and educate people around the country to help them get involved in the democratic process by contacting their elected officials on important legislation impacting marriages, families and freedoms.
Legislative Priorities
The legislative division at Liberty Institute works to advance a number of issues, such as religious liberty, sanctity of life policies, academic freedom, parental rights and limiting government.
